MBF North America , a ProMach product brand, is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and installation of machinery and equipment in an industrial facility. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects within a fast-faced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges. The position will be based on site at MBF North America corporate office in Petaluma, California. Are you passionate about this work? Calculate cost analysis for integrating new machinery and equipment into the manufacturing process. Uses programming process knowledge and experience to adapt equipment to specific job applications. Prepare operating instructions and programs for equipment. Oversee installation of machinery and equipment to ensure they function according to specifications. Evaluate machinery to ensure it has the capability to complete desired functions. Analyze alternative techniques and methods and recommend changes to equipment or procedures as needed. Establish schedule of procedures and maintenance routines to ensure equipment operates efficiently. Share technical information and training with other departments. Perform other related duties as assigned. If this sounds like you, we want to connect! Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required. Five years of relevant experience, preferably in application engineering; highly preferred. Design experience and development of programmed applications highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of engineering and programming including electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and computer programming. Proficient with computer industrial design systems. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to perform with professionalism under pressure. Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) with knowledge of Excel, Salesforce CRM and AutoCAD. What's in it for you?
