This role actively applies modern development practices—including automation, AI-assisted development, and continuous integration—to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. The Solutions Developer is a key contributor to problem solving and product/service design and is routinely sought after for innovative, forward-thinking technical solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, development, and administration of robust, secure, multi-tier, data-driven software solutions. Design and development of batch scripts, automations, and integrations supporting the in-house financial core. Utilize artificial intelligence and AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity, enhance code quality, accelerate solution delivery, and identify opportunities for automation and innovation. Act as tier three support for the Core Systems team, troubleshooting complex technical issues. Collaborate with internal members to understand organizational strategic direction, technology context, and business-driven information technology needs. Apply source control and DevOps practices, including Git-based workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, to ensure reliable, maintainable, and well-governed solutions. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field), or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum of four (4) years of software development experience is required. Minimum of four (4) years of enterprise-class database analysis and design is required. Strong understanding of
ASP.NET, MS
SQL, PYTHON, UNIX, C++, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, HTML, and JavaScript are required, as well as a robust understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation. Experience with source control and modern DevOps practices, including Git-based workflows, code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing. Experience using artificial intelligence and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to improve software development efficiency, code quality, automation, and innovative problem solving. Advanced Episys/Symitar development experience desired. Ability to manage application development through the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle. Ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software. Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Why Altura?
