This is a 100% ON-SITE role in Roseville, CA (greater Sacramento area). You MUST currently live within daily commuting distance and be able to commute to our office in person, every day. If you cannot commute to Roseville, CA, please do NOT apply- your application will be automatically rejected. We do NOT consider out-of-state, out-of-country, or remote applicants. ABOUT THE ROLE CE
Showroom is a fast-growing, AI-driven e-commerce company in Roseville, California. For over a decade we have sold consumer electronics, appliances, and home goods across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify, and our own store- run by a small, sharp team that leans hard on automation and AI. We are now turning the way we run our business into a software product, and we are hiring a Software Developer at CE Showroom to help build it. You would be employed by CE Showroom and work on-site in Roseville with the team
- so you will need to be local or within daily commuting distance. This role is open to both early-career developers and experienced developers who are excited to build with AI and happy to start at this level. What matters most is being smart, hands-on, and genuinely excited about AI
- not years on a resume.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Help build our product on AWS
- starting with the database and data infrastructure, then AWS Amplify, with AI woven through every step.
- Use AI coding tools daily (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot) to write, debug, and ship software.
- Connect software to real data and marketplace APIs.
- Learn constantly, with direct mentorship and a real product you help shape from the ground up.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves:
- Solid software-development fundamentals (any modern language
- Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.)
- Some hands-on experience
- internships, real personal or school projects, or prior work
- Genuinely excited to build with AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, and similar)
- Able to work on-site in the Roseville / Sacramento area, and authorized to work in the US A strong plus (not required):
- Experience with AWS (databases, Amplify, Lambda, etc.)
- A CS degree or equivalent self-taught foundation
- Any exposure to APIs, SQL, or building small full-stack apps
WHAT WE OFFER
- Base $70,000
- 110,000, depending on experience
