Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot microservices.
  • Build scalable backend services using JDK 17+ and modern development practices.
  • Develop integrations involving MongoDB, Kafka, and Oracle databases.
  • Create and maintain Splunk dashboards and queries for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Use APM and monitoring tools to identify performance issues and improve system reliability.
  • Support BDD-driven development and quality-focused engineering processes.
  • Participate in containerized application deployments using OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and support activities. Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing Spring Boot microservices.
  • Experience building Spring-based web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of JDK 17 or later versions.
  • Experience with Splunk query development and dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with APM tools and application performance analysis.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB and Kafka-based integrations.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Database.
  • Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. Additional Information
  • Candidates must be available for an in-person customer interview in San Leandro.
