We are hiring a React Developer for a contract position based in San Leandro, California. This is a 6+ month engagement focused on front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks and web technologies. Responsibilities Develop and maintain user interfaces and web applications using React and modern JavaScript Write clean, high-quality, and developer-friendly code for front-end components Build RESTful APIs and web services Create and execute UI unit tests using testing frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale web application development Implement state management solutions for complex application requirements Optimize applications for high performance Mentor and guide other developers on projects and initiatives Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using developer tools Participate in code review and version control practices Qualifications Required 5+ years of Software Engineering experience Preferred 4+ years of experience with modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript 5+ years of Web Development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React Experience creating pixel-perfect, robust, and developer-friendly user interfaces and web applications Experience with ReactJS Experience with JestJS Experience with React Testing Library (RTL) Experience with Webpack Experience with StorybookJS Experience with StencilJS Experience building RESTful APIs and web services Experience creating large-scale web applications with ReactJS Familiarity with complex state management tools such as Redux or RxJS Experience writing UI unit tests with Jest, Jasmine, or similar frameworks Knowledge of BDD and automated testing practices Knowledge of Accessibility and ADA compliance Experience with code hosting and version control platforms such as GitHub Experience with project tracking software such as Jira Experience with application monitoring tools such as Splunk Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) Experience with interface design tools such as Figma or InVision
