At the Simi Valley location, engineers focus on embedded hardware platforms, servo drives, actuators, sensors, and power electronics designed for extreme operating environments.
The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and validate embedded electronic hardware powering mission critical aerospace, defense, and space applications.
What You Will Be DoingEmbedded Hardware Design:
Develop microcontroller based analog and digital systems for rugged motor control applications
Lifecycle Development:
Drive full product lifecycle including schematic design, component selection, testing, and production release
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Partner with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions
Validation:
Support board layout, packaging, test stand development, and system integration to ensure reliability
Documentation:
Generate specifications, schematics, BOMs, qualification reports, and release documentationWhat You Need for This PositionBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline4+ years of embedded hardware development with multiple circuit board releases
Circuit Knowledge:
Strong understanding of analog/digital design, microcontrollers, A/D and D/A converters, and signal conditioning
Tools:
Proficiency with ORCAD schematic capture, hardware testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes
Preferred Skills:
