Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Robotic/Coding Instructor to inspire and educate students in the exciting world of robotics, programming, and technology. This paid position offers an opportunity to lead engaging lessons, foster creativity, and develop technical skills among learners of diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in coding, web development, and robotics, along with excellent communication skills to effectively work with students both in classroom and online settings. Responsibilities Design and deliver dynamic lessons on robotics, programming languages, and web development using platforms such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, and R. Facilitate hands-on activities involving hardware components like robotics kits and software tools to enhance practical understanding of concepts. Provide personalized tutoring and technical guidance to students working on individual or group projects in a virtual or classroom environment. Assess student progress regularly through assignments, projects, and assessments; offer constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration among students of all ages. Stay current with advancements in educational technology, programming languages, and robotics tools to continually enhance instructional content. Qualifications Proven experience teaching or tutoring in information technology, computer science, or related fields at the higher education or adult education level. Strong technical proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, R; web development including
HTML/CSS
; frameworks like React and React Express; server-side technologies like Node.js; and software development principles. Knowledge of working with students across diverse age groups in classroom or virtual settings; experience with online instruction is highly desirable. Excellent lesson planning skills combined with the ability to adapt content for different learning styles and levels of expertise. Effective communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts and foster an engaging educational environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
