I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. Analyze, design, develop, and integrate future-capability prototypes for program including Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development and other critical leading-edge missile defense technologies Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards and improve overall efficiency of the system Design, code, test and implement tools for automation Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation Interact with other people using good verbal and written communication skills Work independently or with a small group Provide in-depth analysis and technical support of a large, distributed system written in Java Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user-support for a large code baseline Follow specifications in order to develop or modify functionality within the code Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation Qualifications Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent Bachelors Degree in STEM Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred IAT Level II certification Experience with Java and spring framework Experience with the Linux environment Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools Basic Systems Engineering understanding to drive software design. Software development with Java (or other object-oriented language) Object-Oriented development principles and patterns. Generate detailed and repeatable tests Must possess an understanding of Agile software development processes and principles and be able to communicate the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and system users Should be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines Application deployment, integration, and troubleshooting operating systems experience with Windows Unix/LinuxExperience with the following:
