Candidate must have the ability to take ownership of software testing, software integration activities and system troubleshooting. The selected candidate will be responsible for frequent use and application of software engineering standards and techniques, including Object Oriented Design and Agile development techniques. This individual will help guide software requirements verification, architecture, design, implementation, and test. Candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment with frequent and direct interaction with various engineering disciplines and customers.
Your responsibilities will include: Testing, integrating, supporting, and debugging software Supporting the virtual development labs and software development processes Attending and participating in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Basic Qualifications Ability to design software solutions to address complex problems Embedded programming experience in C/C++ and Python. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships across Agile Development Teams.
