Job Description:

The Web Developer will focus on the rebuilding of t he company's ecommerce platform from the ground up. This is not a traditional CMS or templated ecommerce environment—this role will focus on developing a custom, scalable web application that integrates directly with engineering systems to dynamically generate product configurations, 3D models, and renderings. Future projects include building Python-based applications; experience with and develop in local AI environments and backup for IT Manager.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop a custom ecommerce platform (no WordPress or third-party widget frameworks) Build dynamic product configuration and pricing tools Integrate web platform with DriveWorks / SolidWorks to automate 3D model and rendering generation Develop and consume RESTful APIs for system integrations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business and engineering requirements into technical solution s

Qualifications and Requirements:

5+ years of full stack software development (not CMS-based development) Strong backend development experience in Java and/or Python Proficiency in JavaScript (modern frameworks), HTML, CSS Experience working with APIs, JSON, and system integrations Experience building custom web applications or platforms from scratch Solid understanding of application architecture, databases, and performance optimization
