This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit - where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings. What you´ll do Become a part of our North American ACM Application Engineering team, supporting a specific region in the country and driving expertise and innovation activities identified for our business unit. Provide technical customer support for adhesives and equipment, including troubleshooting, product recommendations, application guidance, and validation support through in-person visits, virtual meetings, email, and phone. Support customer application trials and validations, including test plan development, coordination, laboratory testing, sample management, data analysis, and technical report preparation and review. Troubleshoot adhesive- and equipment-related technical issues to support business retention and identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with Sales and Focus Market teams to support target accounts, hero applications, and project opportunities, including providing technical input for value proposition development. Support the development and execution of application engineering projects that drive innovation, new business opportunities, and technical solutions for customers. Report Writing and Review Product recommendation while working in the Lab or in the customer facilities, observe safety protocols, 5s, etc. Develop and deliver technical training for internal and external stakeholders, including new hires, Sales teams, distributors, and customers. Support technical demonstrations, application trials, and customer visits while maintaining appropriate safety, 5S, and laboratory standards. Maintain accurate technical documentation, test results, and project information in applicable systems and tools. Contribute to technical launch activities and the successful introduction of new products, applications, and technologies. What makes you a good fit Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or relevant Engineering/technical discipline At least 1-2 years working experience, preferably with knowledge and experience on adhesives Strong laboratory, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Strong written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience interacting with customers Collaborative team player who is self-motivated, hands-on, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Ability to share knowledge, motivate others, and positively influence team members Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; experience with Microsoft Project and statistical analysis software preferred Some benefits of joining
