About The Role We Are Hiring:
Software Solutions Architect Location:
Washington D.C. We are seeking a talented Software Solutions Architect to support a critical Government initiative. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team maintaining and enhancing a sophisticated private cloud infrastructure that interfaces with real-time, mission-critical internal systems. As part of this effort, you will help integrate externally developed capabilities into internal operations, collaborating closely with two principal developers who oversee comprehensive cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications using PHP, Python, C, and C++. Support a real-time data enrichment and sharing infrastructure. Work across both web-based front-end systems and robust back-end ingestion/processing pipelines. Assist in absorbing and integrating external workflows into internal operations. Collaborate on OpenStack environments and virtualized cloud platforms. Support Linux and Windows system environments. Research and explore implementation of a self-sustaining AI engine within the OpenStack ecosystem.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in PHP, Python, C, and C++. Experience with OpenStack. Strong Linux and Windows system knowledge. Familiarity with virtualization platforms.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. Team-oriented mindset with proven collaboration experience. Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Adaptability and drive for reform initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with AI systems and frameworks. Background in AI implementation and deployment. Knowledge of AI/ML integration in cloud environments.
Details Target Salary Range:
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
