- team located in
- Daytona Beach, FL.
- We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design and implement new capabilities in the Operational Flight Program (OFP) for both the United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- + Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems + Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system + Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met + Executes and documents software research and development projects + Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations + Troubleshoots software issues + Works under general direction •This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- + Bachelor Degree + Active Secret Clearance + 2+ years of experience in
C, C++, C
#, Python, Java, or Ada + 2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- + •Level 3•: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience + •Level 4•: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Agile/SAFe development experience + Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels + Experience developing embedded real-time software + Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) •
