9/80 work schedule — every other Friday off About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer / Cloud Architect to support cloud-based software and infrastructure initiatives in a mission-focused environment at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, Florida. This is an onsite opportunity for a senior-level software and cloud engineering professional with strong AWS architecture experience and an active TS/SCI security clearance . Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, secure applications and solutions in AWS cloud environments . Create cloud architecture, technical designs, and implementation strategies. Provide technical leadership across software and cloud engineering initiatives. Support the automation, deployment, and integration of cloud-based applications. Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture materials. Collaborate with technical teams and customers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Contribute to cloud security, compliance, and authorization activities as required. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance . 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical field. Strong experience designing and developing AWS cloud-based applications . Experience developing cloud architecture and technical designs. Security+ certification or DoD IAT Level II certification, or ability to obtain the required certification within 80 days. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Strong technical communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS EC2 automation . Experience with GitLab CI/CD . Familiarity with C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments. Experience supporting

IATT/ATO

certification and authorization processes . Experience working directly with customers and technical stakeholders.
