Energy / Utilities Job Description We are looking for an experienced Ansible Developer with strong expertise in automation, configuration management, and infrastructure orchestration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining Ansible automation solutions in enterprise environments, along with proven experience in the Energy/Utilities domain. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational processes. Develop reusable Ansible roles and modules to support enterprise automation requirements. Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. Automate Linux and Windows server configuration and management. Work with development, infrastructure, cloud, networking, and security teams to identify automation opportunities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible automation, deployments, and configuration management. Implement best practices for automation, version control, security, and change management. Integrate Ansible with APIs, databases, monitoring tools, and other enterprise platforms. Maintain documentation for automation workflows, playbooks, and deployment processes. Support infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives. Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, and continuous improvement activities. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Ansible development and infrastructure automation. Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, and Ansible Automation Platform. Strong experience developing Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation workflows. Strong Linux/Unix administration experience. Experience with Python and/or Shell scripting. Experience with Git and version control systems. Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments. Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and infrastructure automation. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Domain Requirement Energy / Utilities domain experience is required. Experience working with energy, power, utility, or related infrastructure organizations is highly preferred.
