AgreeYa is a global integrator and seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in supporting mission-critical enterprise applications and managing DevOps activities across large-scale releases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise release management, Agile methodologies, security compliance, vulnerability tracking and remediation, and ensuring systems adhere to SOX audit requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain application servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Work on Digital Transformation and modernize the application based on new technologies.

• Experience in working with very complex system using micro services architecture using large databases.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• 7 years of Experience in deploying microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
  
• 4 plus years of AWS Cloud environment
  
• 3 years of Experience in working with Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes cluster, Docker, and containerization technologies.
  
• 3 years of Experience with working in a Cloud environment and experience with cloud formation templates, teraform and yaml scripts.
  
• Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture
  
• 3 years of Experience with Tomcat and Linux/Unix
  
• 3 years of Experience with Cloud and DevOps tools (GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc)
  

AI-Assisted Development Skills:

Proficiency using modern AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate code generation, debugging, and automated testing. Generative AI Integration (Plus):

Experience or familiarity with integrating LLM APIs (such as Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI) into enterprise Java/Spring Boot microservices.

• Good working Knowledge of Oracle Database including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed, to collaborate and work with multiple teams.
  
• Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture
  

DESIRED SKILLS

• Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ
  
• Working knowledge of JSON, Camel
  
• Working knowledge of APIGEE
• Knowledge of Agentic AI and AI Tools
  

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science or similar.
  
• 10+ years of Application Development and Technology Experience
