About the Role ZIKOO America is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support our North American sales and pre-sales team. You will work closely with U.S. customers, our sales team, and engineering teams in China to turn customer requirements into practical warehouse automation solutions. This role combines solution design, warehouse layout planning, technical presentations, and quotation support. You will report to the North America General Manager. Key Responsibilities Design warehouse and production-line layouts, select equipment, and develop preliminary system configurations in collaboration with our solutions team in China. Support sales meetings and customer presentations with layout drawings, technical recommendations, and solution proposals. Clarify customer requirements, define technical scope and key parameters, and support standard and customized quotations. Respond promptly to new sales opportunities, technical inquiries, and quotation requests. Collaborate with system engineering teams on simulations and calculations, including throughput, storage density, and return on investment. Participate in weekly U.S.-China project reviews to align on solution design, pricing, lead times, and delivery risks before making customer commitments. Provide clear handoffs to project management and delivery teams, documenting customer requirements, technical scope, and key assumptions. Share customer feedback, competitive insights, and relevant local regulatory updates with product and engineering teams. Maintain solution templates, quotation tools, and project case studies to improve pre-sales efficiency. Qualifications A background in warehouse automation, material handling, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field. Ability to develop warehouse or production-line layouts using AutoCAD or comparable 2D/3D design tools. Working knowledge of ROI and cost-benefit analysis, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms. Strong English communication skills and the ability to independently lead technical discussions with U.S. customers. Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines. Ability to be based in the Atlanta area and travel within the U.S. or to our headquarters in China as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in solution design or pre-sales engineering with a warehouse automation provider or systems integrator. Familiarity with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), pallet automation, warehouse robotics, or four-way shuttle systems. Experience with simulation tools and warehouse performance analysis. Familiarity with warehouse operations in cold chain, third-party logistics (3PL), automotive parts, retail/grocery, or food and beverage. Mandarin communication skills to support collaboration with engineering teams in China. Experience working with international teams across U.S.-China time zones.
