at Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Applications Sales Engineer Our Idaho Falls business unit is looking for an Applications Sales Engineer to join their team! In this role, you will join our Customer Success Team as part of our Instrumentation and Controls business unit and be empowered to help identify, assess, and evaluate product solutions that will address the needs of our client's business. You will interact with clients to assess nuclear plant processes and align product needs with Curtiss-Wright offerings. You will collaborate with internal technical teams to provide and deliver according to client's specifications and be a champion for customer requirements to ensure expectations are met. Please note, this is not a commissioned sales role.

Your Challenge:
+ Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and develop proposals and that comply with client's requirements in matters of content, format, and structure. + Recommend technical solutions to customers, identifies customers' purchasing requirements and technical specifications. + Interact with engineering groups to assist in the conceptual design of equipment. + Prepare all technical proposals and work with all departments to ensure technical requirements/specifications are correct. + Coordinate resolution of product issues/upgrades/problems. + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. + Assist with the creation of project planning documents.
What You Bring:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5 years of related experience. + Knowledge of analog circuit design. + Proven ability to work closely with a diverse group of sales and technical experts, and to translate technical information into compelling sales messaging. + Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook). + Technical Proficiency, knowledge of IEEE standards. + Passionate customer service mindset, values responsive and proactive approach to addressing customer needs. + To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
