Job Description

Job Description An employer is seeking a direct hire Junior C# Developer to join their development team. This person will be responsible to deliver high quality software solutions across the firm's trading, operational and regulatory landscape. The role focuses on enhancing in house systems and integrating front office, middle office and back office platforms. They will collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders and fellow developers to analyze requirements, write secure and maintainable code, and ensure robust, well documented releases. Analysis & Requirements
  •  Work with the Head of Development, Business Analysts and business stakeholders to refine requirements and technical specifications.
  •  Analyse processes, data flows, system behaviour, and codebases to propose practical, cost-effective solutions within agreed constraints. Development
  •  Write clean, secure, maintainable, and scalable code in C#/.NET/T-SQL aligned with team standards and patterns.
  •  Build and maintain integrations across front, middle and back-office systems. Testing & Quality Assurance
  •  Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test data.
  •  Perform debugging and root cause analysis to resolve defects. Deployment & Change Management
  •  Prepare and maintain technical documentation for systems, integrations, and releases.
  •  Adhere to the firm's change management and release procedures
  •  Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and environment hygiene. Support
  •  Investigate incidents, respond to service requests, and provide production support as required.
  •  Monitor and improve operational reliability, including instrumentation, logging and alerting where appropriate.

  •  University degree (ideally in Computer Science or related field)
  •  2+ years commercial experience
  •  Full stack in Microsoft technologies (below) o Microsoft stack: Visual Studio, .
NET/C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework. o 
SQL Server:
good T-SQL, performance tuning, and SSDT database projects o 
APIs:
designing, building and consuming REST services. o 
SDLC/DevOps:
Agile delivery, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, Git (branching/release strategies).
  • Really want someone who is a fast learner/eager to be long term with a company Relevant financial industry experience preferred: futures, options, equities, CFDs, fixed income & FX, trade lifecycle, and regulatory obligations (MiFIR/EMIR) (+)
