Job Description
Job Description Our client is looking for a senior VMware and Nutanix Solution Architect to support a large enterprise infrastructure environment for one of their clients. The role will be approximately a 50/50 combination of technical architecture and hands-on environment analysis.
This person will:
Assess the current VMware and Nutanix environmentLog into systems to collect and analyze technical dataIdentify infrastructure issues, risks, and opportunities for improvementDevelop architectural recommendationsSupport planning for upgrades, migrations, and implementationsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure problemsServe as a high-level technical escalation resourceCommunicate findings and recommendations to the customerCoordinate approved changes with service owners, service delivery managers, and engineering teamsThis person will not typically make production changes directly. Existing engineering and delivery teams will execute changes to maintain governance and compliance. The architect must still have enough hands-on technical depth to understand the environment, conduct the analysis, and recommend the correct solution. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of solution architecture experience (not solely VMware administration or engineering)Expert-level VMware experience, including:vSphereESXivCentervSANHCXSRMExperience with VMware Cloud FoundationStrong Nutanix experience, including:
