full-time C++ Engineer - Trading Infrastructure A leading global Hedge Fund is looking to hire a C++ Engineer to join a core trading technology team responsible for the design and operation of its global electronic trading infrastructure. The team builds and maintains ultra-low-latency systems that underpin real-time trading across global markets. You'll work closely with developers, traders, and operations teams to optimise system behaviour, reduce latency, and ensure platform reliability at scale.
The role will:
Develop ultra-low-latency C++ systems on Linux Build high-throughput, distributed systems Optimise networking across TCP, UDP and multicast Profile and benchmark systems to reduce latency and improve throughput Work closely with developers, traders and operations in a production trading environment You have: 2+ years' C++/C experience on Linux Strong multithreading and systems programming knowledge Understanding of TCP/UDP/multicast Experience with performance optimisation and tools such as gdb, perf, tcpdump and Wireshark Experience with epoll/io_uring, lock-free structures and concurrent programming Electronic trading experience is advantageous
