Full Job Description Job Title:
Application Engineer - Building Automation Systems (BAS). The Application Engineer designs, programs, and commissions Building Automation Systems (BAS), leveraging expert-level knowledge of Tridium Niagara and Siemens platforms to deliver energy-efficient building solutions. Key Responsibilities System Design & Programming Develop software code , graphics, and animations using Tridium Niagara (AX/4) and Siemens (Desigo CC/Apogee) . Create system databases and configure custom control loops, schedules, and alarms. Design network architectures integrating BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols. Review project specifications and blueprints to design hardware/software schematics. Commissioning & Implementation Perform field commissioning and testing of controllers, sensors, and actuators. Integrate Siemens legacy systems into modern Tridium Niagara framework supervisors. Troubleshoot complex networks and resolve communication or logic errors. Provide technical handoff documentation and system training to end-users. Qualifications & SkillsTechnical Requirements Tridium Niagara 4 (N4) Certification (TCP) is highly preferred. Proficiency in Siemens platforms including Desigo
CC, PPCL
programming, and Apogee. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical sequences, and electrical schematics. Expertise in network protocols like BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, and LonWorks. Education & Experience Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent technical experience. 3-5+ years of experience in BAS application engineering or programming. Physical & Travel Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders on active construction sites. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for regional travel.
Pay:
$94,970.35 - $114,372.90 per year
