Our client, a global leader in environmentally focused infrastructure and manufacturing is seeking an Applications Engineer to join their greater Rockford, IL team. The Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in sizing, designing, costing, and evaluating material processing systems for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage sales opportunities from initial inquiry to proposal submission, internal coordination, and post-sale follow-up. Develop process flow diagrams and equipment layouts for aggregate processing plants, along with standard and non-standard equipment quotations. Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on product selection, application, and operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and service departments to deliver tailored solutions. Attend trade shows and product demonstrations as necessary. Lead or participate in meetings with internal teams, dealers, and customers to review applications and proposals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Mining, Geological, or Industrial Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor or similar 3D design software. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage stressful situations and resolve problems effectively.
