We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting outside sales efforts by developing tailored solutions, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and providing expert guidance on our industrial offerings. In this role, the Application Engineer will support the outside sales team by providing technical knowledge during the sales cycle for our portfolio, enabling the company to gain market share growth. The Applications Engineer will directly support the customers' needs in terms of product information, price quotes, and product availability. Demonstrate added value of Fives products to improve customer processes and demonstrate cost savings Support the sales team with identifying new business and market growth opportunities Provide the customer with quotations; product descriptions, specifying materials, geometry, etc. Regularly interact with the manufacturing plant to learn, test, and improve product performance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Preferred areas of education are manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and mechanical engineering 5+ years of work experience preferred Previous sales, application, or machining experience is a plus Cutting tool, dressing tool, and/or grinding experience Strong interpersonal skills Self-starter and relationship-focused Customer-oriented and solution-driven

Pay:

$82,588.06 - $99,460.89 per year
