Winnebago County is a local government entity with approximately 1700 employees in approximately 20 locations dispersed about the county. This position would report to a Manager of IT Integration in the Winnebago County Department of Information Technology (DoIT). DoIT is a centralized IT department that services all offices, elected and appointed, within Winnebago County in addition to many other municipal entities within Winnebago County. The purpose of DoIT is to be of maximum service to its internal and external customers by providing timely, accurate and financially sound Information Technology counsel, services and solutions. We are a small but potent team of 14 total integrators reporting to a service-focused, visionary CIO.Benefits:

Pay range is $50,000-$60,000 based on experience.Summary of Responsibilities:
The Developer will design, code and maintain middleware solutions and adjunct reports for mission critical applications.The Developer will also:
assist business disciplines with refining middleware, application and report requirements; lead development projects; create accurate resource estimates for development based activities; maintain accurate procedures and technical documentation; assist in designing business rule engines, content management system, data analytics, and other progressive technologies; perform all other duties as requested by management.Illustrative Examples of Work:
Create and maintain custom reports. Create and maintain custom web applications. Perform and/orassist with business application installations and/or upgrades. Analyze business practices and make automation recommendations. Comply with County policies and procedures as well as State and Federal laws. Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed. Participate in on-call rotation as well as off-hours support as needed.Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree is desired Associate degree in computer science and previous IT experience is required, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional IT-related certifications are desirable.Abilities/Requirements:
Experience using various RDBMS (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) Proven knowledge inSQL / T-SQL.
Demonstrated Experience withASP.NET, VB.NET, C
#, HTML required Preferred experience with several of the following preferred:AJAX, MVC, JSON, SOAP, XML, UI
Design, iOS/Android, RDBMS Design, IIS, Crystal Reports Detail and process oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize. Establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with fellow employees, Elected and Appointed Officials and the general public. Must pass a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) background check.Job Type:
