Applications EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Applications Engineer to support advanced mill-turn machining solutions. This role involves CNC programming, machine setup, process development, and customer support while helping customers implement efficient manufacturing processes from concept through production.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize CNC programs for mill-turn and multitasking machines.

Set up machines, prove out programs, and troubleshoot machining issues.

Support turnkey projects from process planning through customer acceptance.

Recommend tooling, workholding, and machining strategies.

Conduct customer demos, test cuts, and production feasibility studies.

Provide technical support and training to customers and distributors.

Requirements5+ years of CNC machining, manufacturing, or applications engineering experience.

Hands-on experience with mill-turn, multitasking, or multi-axis machines.

Ability to independently set up, program, and troubleshoot complex parts.

Experience with CAD/CAM software and G-code editing.

Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and inspection processes.

Strong communication skills and willingness to travel as needed.

PreferredExperience with FANUC and/or Siemens controls.

Experience with Mastercam, Siemens NX, or similar CAM software.

Background supporting turnkey manufacturing projects or automated machining cells.
