$75/hr W2 We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and modern backend development to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure cloud services, and modern software architecture while also bringing strong data engineering capabilities using Python, PySpark, and Microsoft Fabric. This role combines hands-on software development with cloud architecture, data engineering, and technical leadership, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across both application development and enterprise data platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, secure, cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. Build and maintain backend applications using .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, and related technologies. Develop REST APIs and enterprise backend services. Design cloud-native and microservices-based solutions. Implement event-driven and serverless architectures where appropriate. Fabric integration Integrate Azure services including: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Azure DevOps Develop and optimize enterprise data pipelines. Build analytics workflows using Python and PySpark. Develop Microsoft Fabric notebooks and Lakehouse solutions. Support enterprise data integration initiatives. Partner closely with Data Engineering and BI teams supporting the company's Microsoft Fabric implementation. This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision
