Job Description
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to serve as a hands-on technical leader for our client's development team. This role will play a critical part in guiding architectural decisions, carrying a full development workload, and setting the standard for code quality and review.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with experienced developers on architectural and technical decisions, contributing your own perspective and influence Document previously undocumented systems and processes to preserve critical team knowledge Carry a full development workload, writing production code continuously rather than only reviewing it Manage workflow by protecting cycle time, maintaining work-in-progress limits, and preventing stalled items Set the code review standard, focusing on correctness, maintainability, and shared learning Lead development projects and serve as a technical point of contact for the development team Break down ambiguous requirements into well-defined, estimable technical work Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex production issuesRequirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, with 6+ years of professional software development experience Experience providing day-to-day technical direction, coordinating in-flight work, and removing obstacles Demonstrated proficiency in C# and the .NET framework Experience with Clean Code practices, including readable, testable, maintainable code and disciplined refactoring Experience building web applications using the MVC pattern Working knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms Experience with relational databases/SQL and web development Experience delivering in a Kanban or continuous-flow environment Understanding of the full software development lifecycle Experience supporting production systems, including troubleshooting and defect resolutionPreferred:
Experience with Knockout.js or a comparable JavaScript framework Experience in government, regulated, or contract-driven delivery environmentsBenefits Overview:
