About the Role As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you will drive manufacturing excellence by maintaining, programming, and optimizing advanced robotic and control systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our production lines operate at peak efficiency, safety, and reliability. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex issues within PLC, HMI, and robotic control architectures to minimize downtime. Develop and refine industrial robotic programs to streamline production workflows and integrate new product lines. Optimize critical process variables to enhance manufacturing consistency and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams to implement system upgrades and reliability improvements. Design and maintain robotic tooling and fixtures to support evolving manufacturing requirements. Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of automated systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all system modifications, program updates, and performance improvements. Required Skills Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience in industrial automation. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robotic systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Commitment to following rigorous safety protocols and quality standards. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with FANUC or Motoman industrial robotics. Proficiency in offline robotic programming software and CNC programming. Knowledge of statistical analysis or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization. Experience with robotic fixture design and implementation.
