Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting both our sales and technical teams, acting as a key resource in solving complex pump-related challenges and providing expert technical guidance to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and the ability to work closely with the sales team, ensuring seamless communication between our technical capabilities and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site troubleshooting for pump-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical challenges. Assist the sales team with high-level technical questions, acting as the go-to expert for detailed product knowledge and application-specific advice. Assess and respond to inbound technical inquiries, including reviewing system specifications and recommending suitable pump solutions. Prepare detailed quotes and pump performance curves based on client needs and system requirements. Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet the customer's application and operational requirements. Collaborate with sales to understand customer pain points, create tailored solutions, and assist in closing deals through technical expertise. Participate in customer site visits, pump installations, and performance assessments as needed. Maintain a thorough understanding of company products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. Ability to present via powerpoint and teams as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in an industrial or application engineering role, preferably within the pump or fluid handling industry. Strong technical knowledge of pump systems and hydraulics. Experience in troubleshooting pump installations and performance issues. Ability to create and interpret pump curves, quotes, and other technical documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Willingness to travel as needed for on-site troubleshooting and client support.
