Hebron, Kentucky Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Controls Engineer to join our team at our Hebron, Kentucky location. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems software for automated equipment and processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software for control systems used in automated equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues related to control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development for control systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial automation and robotics.
