Job Description What You'll Do Identify appropriate protection and control schemes for transmission and distribution substations Select protection devices and ensure proper equipment sizing and material procurement Prepare scopes of work, estimates, and drawing packages including wiring diagrams, schematics, protection panels, one-line, and three-line diagrams Perform load calculations for panels, battery systems, voltage drop, and other substation components Ensure adherence to client standards and industry regulations related to relay protection Provide field support and conduct pre-inspections for turnkey substation projects involving protection panels, breakers, transformers, control houses, and supporting equipment. Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project alignment and technical accuracy Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance Collaborate with internal teams to revise and maintain design/construction scope processes Protection & Control (P&C) Design P&C packages: one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, relays, communication diagrams, SCADA points Conduct battery sizing, voltage drop, and conduit fill calcs Develop relay settings and perform arc flash and coordination studies Interface with
SCADA/RTAC

The Successful Applicant What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) 5-10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus in power systems, renewable energy, or substations Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office, and at least one power system analysis software EIT or PE certification is preferred, or ability to obtain in the future What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $190,000 USD.
