Job Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Technology Consultant (Appian) to support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade low-code solutions using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to modernize business processes, automate workflows, and deliver scalable digital transformation solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Appian BPM development, system integration, and agile delivery within complex enterprise or federal environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Develop:
Appian Interfaces (SAIL) Process Models Records Integration Objects Reports & Dashboards Configure workflows, business rules, and case management solutions Integrate Appian applications with external systems using APIs, web services, and databases Participate in solution architecture discussions and technical design reviews Support deployment, testing, and production releases Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize applications Work within Agile/Scrum delivery teams Provide technical guidance and best practices aligned with Appian standards Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and client demonstrations Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Hands-on experience with Appian BPM / Low-Code Platform Strong experience with: SAIL Interface Design Process Modeling Appian Records & Reports Expression Rules Integration Services Experience integrating Appian with:
REST/SOAP
APIs SQL/Relational Databases External enterprise systems Knowledge of Appian deployment & environment management Understanding of workflow automation and business process optimization Experience with version control tools (Git preferred) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Programming & Integration Working knowledge of: SQL Java (preferred) Web Services
JSON/XML
Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred) Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders Excellent communication and documentation skills Experience working in client-facing consulting environments Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced delivery programs Preferred Qualifications Appian Certified Associate or Senior Developer Certification Experience supporting Federal/Government clients Experience with Case Management or Workflow Modernization programs Knowledge of DevSecOps practices Exposure to Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
