Join a dynamic team as a Software Architect, Lead, where you'll apply your extensive experience to develop innovative, high-impact architectures supporting military and defense systems. This role focuses on designing durable software solutions with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, cloud modernization, and digital engineering integration. You'll translate complex client needs into actionable architecture plans, lead solution engineering efforts, and mentor team members to deliver mission-critical software products. Utilize cutting-edge tools like Came, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Agentic AI in an Agile environment to build scalable software, support cloud migrations, and drive technological innovation for defense clients. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing defense capabilities and supporting warfighter operations.
Top Requirements:
10+ years of software architecture development and implementation experience 5+ years of experience working within DoD, Navy, or aviation environments Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages (C++, Java, C#), SysML or UML, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, migration, and modernization strategies Experience leading or supporting RFPs in an IAC MAC environment Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and lead technical solutioning efforts Secret security clearance and Bachelor's degree in CS or Software Engineering Willingness to obtain Security+, CISSP, or ISSAP certification within 3 months of hire •Nice to
