Full-time Position Overview A recognized leader in providing Information Technology, Engineering Services, Program Management, and Consulting Services to the U.S. Federal Government and Intelligence Community is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to support the development of innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective technical solutions supporting mission-critical operations. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain components of a Data Dictionary capability supporting metadata specification, storage, and access services. The system includes a Java/Spring-based backend, REST APIs, and a web-based user interface. This role requires the ability to independently implement features, contribute to system architecture, and support full lifecycle software delivery within a collaborative Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend services and APIs Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions Develop and maintain database schemas and integrations Participate in CI/CD and deployment processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Mentor junior engineers Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph 3+ years of experience with modern Java and Spring/Spring Boot Experience developing RESTful APIs and JSON-based services Strong SQL/database experience (Postgres or equivalent) Experience working within Linux development environments Experience developing software and systems in Java/J2EE (Java 17 preferred) Experience with theFollowing:
Metadata or schema-driven systems Spring Framework PostgreSQL / SQL
