USAMRIID
in Fort Detrick, MD.
Target Salary :
$110,000.00 to $120,000.00
Position Overview:
  • Support the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) Information Management Division as a hybrid .
NET Developer / Application Specialist responsible for application development, sustainment, compliance documentation, and Agile execution.
Job Duties:
  • Design, develop, enhance, and sustain .NET WebForms and .NET Razor applications using Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server, and Visual Studio .NET Web Developer Tools.
  • Serve as the Primary or Secondary Application Specialist (PAS/SAS) for one or more systems, including ownership of requirements, operational compliance, and coordination with functional leads.
  • full software development lifecycle discipline, including requirements gathering, system, data, and process modeling, application architecture, database design, and object-oriented programming best practices.
  • Manage application change control and follow Development, Test, and Production promotion gates.
  • Perform sustainment activities, including bug fixes, unit and system testing, version control, documentation, end-user support, training, system enhancement, and reengineering.
  • Maintain compliance with
AR 25-1, AR 25-2, PII
requirements, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, 21 CFR Part 58, and applicable Defense Health Agency directives.
  • Create and maintain requirements, project plans, system specifications, change-control records, test plans, user guides, and lessons learned, as applicable.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Write and refine user stories, estimate level of effort, break requirements into trackable technical tasks, and coordinate sprint scope and acceptance criteria with the Product Owner.
  • Use Azure DevOps for backlog management and sprint tracking; provide daily time entries, weekly journal updates, and milestone or project status reporting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated professional experience developing applications using .NET WebForms and/or .NET Razor, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies for a software development team.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint Online.
  • Strong self-organization and follow-through, with the ability to deliver sprint commitments with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for government-facing documentation and stakeholder coordination.
