Python Software Engineer Location:
Hanover, MD Clearance:
TS/SCI with Polygraph Join ISEA — Build What Protects the Nation At ISEA, we engineer mission advantage. We are seeking a CNO Python Software Engineer to support next-generation cyber capabilities in a high-impact environment supporting national security missions.Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to demonstrate solid knowledge of application containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Performing system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system.
- Researching requirements for a product, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
- Analyze user requirements and system capabilities to resolve problems and design new capabilities or recommend improvements.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and modify software, and assist with developing and executing test procedures.
- Write and review software and system documentation
- Coordinating and performing software deployments for developed products.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college or University with 7+ years of programming experience (OR 11+ of programming experience in lieu of a degree).
- Experience with developing Software and systems running Windows and Linux
- Experience with Python programming
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and Ansible
- Experience designing and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with VMWare
- Experience with Java
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Subversion/GIT experience
- Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Crucible)
- Software troubleshooting and debugging experience
Unit Test Experience Citizenship and Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
