Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing software solutions to enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of electrical HVAC systems. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and testing software applications that integrate with our HVAC systems, enabling advanced functionality and control capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including electrical engineers, HVAC specialists, and product managers to define software requirements and specifications for HVAC system components. Design, develop, and maintain software applications and embedded systems for controlling and monitoring electrical HVAC systems. Implement algorithms and protocols for data acquisition, processing, and analysis to optimize system performance and energy efficiency. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure reliability, robustness, and compliance with industry standards. Integrate software solutions with hardware platforms and thirdparty systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and compatibility. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and customers during product development, deployment, and maintenance phases. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in software technologies, HVAC systems, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Document software designs, implementation details, and test procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions to foster collaboration and drive quality in software development processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) Engineering Proven experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems or realtime applications. Ability to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive costeffective solutions. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and building automation. Excellent problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
