Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies. Follow architecture guidelines to maintain a unified and coherent approach to development. Design, develop, test, and deliver new application code. Develop and maintain backend applications, including APIs and microservices, using server-side languages such as Java. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interface elements. Work with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and architects. Manage application deployment to cloud or on-premises environments. Monitor application health and performance and support security hardening and disaster recovery for deployed applications. Manage application data storage and retrieval using database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB. Promote improvements in programming practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Optimize backend infrastructure and deployment practices to improve application resiliency and reliability. Support security practices designed to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization. Support product users and maintain an enablement mindset. Identify improvement opportunities and demonstrate thought leadership. Work independently on larger areas of responsibility while collaborating effectively with others. Use AI responsibly to benefit products and services. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience in IT. 3+ years of software development experience. Practitioner-level experience with at least one coding language or framework. Experience with Java. Experience with software and application development. Experience developing REST APIs and backend applications. Experience with Spring Boot. Experience with application design and application testing. Experience with GCP and cloud computing. Experience with GCP Cloud Run. Experience with JUnit. Knowledge of databases and data technologies, including Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of API development. Knowledge of security concepts, including Zero Trust. Full-stack application development experience.
