We're hiring a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and support modern full-stack applications that drive critical business solutions. This role is ideal for a highly technical, solution-oriented developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building scalable, secure applications while mentoring others and driving engineering best practices.

What You'll Do:

Design and develop modern full-stack applications across front-end, API, and data layers Build and maintain single-page applications (SPAs) using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue Develop back-end services using REST, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability Establish and enforce development standards, including code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release practices Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end) Partner with Product, QA, Security, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development tasks Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues Improve system monitoring, performance, and operational resilience Mentor developers and promote adoption of modern engineering practices Support AI-assisted development tools while ensuring quality, security, and compliance

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 6+ years of application development experience, including modern full-stack development Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one back-end platform (.NET, Node.js, Java, or Python) Experience building SPA and API-driven applications in production environments Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development practices Experience with automated testing strategies and frameworks Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of secure development practices and application security principles Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Northpointe?
