The AI and Data Analytics Team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. You will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will take ownership of critical services, influence technical direction, and mentor engineers while partnering closely with product, DevOps, and leadership teams. Priorities can change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Architect, design, and implement complex cloud-native applications on AWSLead technical decisions for scalability, reliability, security, and performanceOwn end-to-end delivery of services from design through production supportDevelop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservicesImplement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or TerraformDrive best practices in system design, testing, monitoring, and CI/CDOptimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiencyEnsure security, compliance, and observability standards are metTroubleshoot and resolve high-impact production issuesMentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct code reviewsCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams Top Performers will be able to demonstrate:

Comprehensive knowledge of relational database concepts, including; data architecture, operational data stores, Interface processes, multidimensional modeling, master data management, and data manipulationExpert knowledge and experience with custom ETL design, implementation and maintenanceComprehensive experience designing, implementing, and iterating data pipelines using Big Data technologiesExperienced working on cross-functional teams and leading efforts to build data services from the ground upExcellent communication skills with the ability to understand complex business problems and provide solutions.

United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical disciplineA minimum of 8 years of working experienceA minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experienceA minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience designing and building solutions on AWSDeep experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, IAM)Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, Go, etc.)Experience designing distributed systems and microservice architecturesHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deploymentsStrong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions

Preferred Qualifications:
