Our engineers provide technical support to professionals throughout the Americas and across a range of industries. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team and Engineers in Japan to promote and support cutting-edge technologies in Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing, mobility and automotive, renewable energy, electronic components, and power electronics.

Key Responsibilities :

 Assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions during the sales process.  Provide technical assistance and promptly respond to customer inquiries.  Work with Sales and Management to develop and implement revenue growth strategies.  Create and deliver presentations, application notes, and white papers.  Conduct product demonstrations and attend trade shows as needed.  Recommend enhancements to Hioki's existing product line.  Provide product training to internal sales associates, sales representatives, distributors, and end users.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.  2+ years of experience in test and measurement, applications, electrical design, system integration, or a similar role.  Proficiency with test and measurement instruments such as data acquisition equipment, battery testers, LCR meters, and power analyzers.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

 Strong understanding of electronic principles and a genuine interest in technology.  Ability to understand complex technical concepts and a desire to teach others.  Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal teammates.  Effective presentation skills in large and small settings.  Strong writing skills to communicate with clarity and conviction.  Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  Must be open to travel domestically (25%) and internationally (5-10%) of the time.  Experience in electronic component design, manufacturing, or testing, with emphasis on batteries, the automotive industry, or renewable energy is highly desirable.

Compensation:
