Internship Duration:
Onsite in Plymouth, MI from January 2027- August 2027 At least 24 hours weekly Principle Duties & Responsibilities The internship involves Engineering related duties providing the intern the advantage of acquiring controls, robotic, and laser processing skills and experience.
- Implementing process improvements in our Laser Application center including: Standardized Pneumatic controls system Updating and documenting Laser Safety Controls System Developing Controls test systems
- Supporting the development of standardize laser product demonstrations
- Supporting Applications team on robotics and Control topics during application development
- Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management
- Adhere to all company guidelines Education & Experience Currently pursuing an Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, electronics or other related field Strong analytical skills Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills Strong interpersonal and verbal skills Great communication skills Experience Programming/coding, schooling or work environment required PLC or other embedded programming experience preferred Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) TRUMPF Inc.
