We are looking for a talented Software Engineer who is responsible for designing, implementing, documenting and supporting software tools, utilities and programs for a range of internal and external applications.
Main Responsibilities:
Work with our internal software development toolset and environment and use it in combination with other tools and languages to achieve software design goals. Use various environments (C, C#, .NET, Delphi, etc.) to contribute the configuration and implementation of customer projects. Participate in code reviews and adhere to the build and deploy strategy for assigned software development projects, using the designated version control system and code repository. Ensure project milestone features and timing obligations are met. Proactively communicate obstacles and new timing projections to supervisor. Work cooperatively with other development team members. Strictly avoid the use of local or personal repositories ensuring that the latest version of all code is posted to LINK-owned environments and repositories. Adhere to secure software development processes and maintain cognizance and reporting of potential security vulnerabilities. Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment. All other related duties as assigned. Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong capability and understanding of mechanical, electrical and software engineering fundamentals. Experience with ProLINK and CodeLINK preferred. Analysis of test data to determine possible reasons for malfunction. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Demonstrated experience being highly motivated and self-directed. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work well in a Team environment. Ability to work under pressure. Hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement support. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong independent organizational and analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to walk. Ability to speak verbally and read in English. Ability to see with corrective lenses. Ability to hear. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. Ability to use a computer. Able to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
