- The Role
- The Lead Software Engineer provides technical leadership for software efforts across a subset of contracts and work directives under the Munitions Software Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Balance of Responsibility:
- + •60% Individual Contribution (Software Design and Development)•+ •40% Software Technical Project Leadership•Key Responsibilities•Technical Leadership and Execution•+ Oversee the full software engineering lifecycle, including estimating, planning, requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, unit testing, hardware/software integration, and range testing.
- Project and Performance Management
- + Monitor and control technical, cost, and schedule performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep efforts on track.
- Compliance, Quality and Safety
- + Ensure the project team executes with rigor in accordance with tailored Business Management System (BMS) procedures.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- + Plan and lead formal software development milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR) with U.
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- + Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline plus 6 years relevant experience; or a master s degree and 4 years of experience; or a Ph.
- Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- + Weapon system and/or combat vehicle subject matter expertise.
- Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range:
$118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Employee Benefits:
