Engineering Manager Position Summary The Applications Engineer is responsible for evaluating customer requirements, interpreting technical drawings, determining manufacturing processes, and preparing accurate cost estimates for precision machined components. This role requires a high level of engagement with Customers, Suppliers, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure accurate translation of customer requirements into a competitive offering to our customers. Key attributes are a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of machining processes, and the ability to manage multiple customer requests while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering/manufacturing technology or equivalent industry experience in a related technical field.
• Experience working in a precision machining manufacturing environment.
• Advanced blueprint reading skills including interpretation of GD&T.
• Working knowledge of secondary processes including heat treatment, passivation, electropolishing, coatings, and stress relieving.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, grinding, and required outside services.
• Experience with CAD or SolidWorks is beneficial.
