Job Description

Description We are looking for a SharePoint Administrator to support legal professionals in Minneapolis, Minnesota by improving how they use SharePoint for collaboration, document handling, and matter-related work. This position combines platform knowledge with user-facing consulting, helping attorneys and staff understand available tools, adopt stronger practices, and get more value from SharePoint. The role is ideal for someone who can translate technical capabilities into practical solutions for a legal environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Advise attorneys and legal support teams on how SharePoint can be used to strengthen collaboration, organize information, and support matter-related processes.
  • Deliver training sessions and one-on-one guidance that help users apply SharePoint features effectively in their day-to-day work.
  • Translate user needs into practical SharePoint solutions by connecting business goals with configuration, workflow, and usability considerations.
  • Review existing processes to uncover opportunities for greater efficiency, improved document management, and better team coordination.
  • Support the design and refinement of workflows that align SharePoint functionality with legal operational needs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring questions are addressed clearly and platform capabilities are explained in accessible terms.
  • Promote adoption of SharePoint tools by recommending best practices and encouraging consistent, effective usage across teams.
  • Collaborate with technical and business partners to improve platform performance, functionality, and overall end-user experience. Requirements
  • Hands-on experience working with SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Prem, or both in a business environment.
  • Solid understanding of workflow design, document management practices, and case or matter management concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing position that required building trust and delivering guidance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to attorneys, legal staff, and other non-technical users.
  • Experience presenting SharePoint features, solution options, and functional capabilities in a practical and user-friendly way.
  • Ability to assess business needs and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and user adoption.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint features, SharePoint-based solutions, and workflow-related functionality.
