Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce's client in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Senior .NET Developer/Architect to help expand its software development capabilities and support a growing portfolio of enterprise projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys working directly with business stakeholders and owning solutions from concept through implementation. The organization is modernizing and integrating systems across multiple business units, creating a strong pipeline of development initiatives. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead full software development lifecycle activities, from requirements gathering through deployment
  • Design and develop enterprise applications, APIs, and database solutions
  • Partner directly with business users and stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide technical guidance and architectural leadership
  • Participate in planning sessions, meetings, and solution discussions
REQUIREMENTS
  • Expert level SQL Server programmer
  • Table layout and design experience
  • Extensive knowledge on Stored Procedures, View, Functions, Triggers, etc.
  • Ability to analyze, update and create complex queries.
  • Knowledge of Foreign Keys, Key constraints and Indexing
  • General knowledge of server administration. Logins, Users, Permission, Linked servers
  • High level/Expert C# development skills
  • Experience with Web Dev, ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, JSON, jQuery, Web Services, Windows Forms, Class Libraries, Bootstrap
  • Advanced knowledge of C# coding. LINQ, Entity Framework, Multithreading etc.
  • MS Excel programming would be a plus
  • SQL server reporting services; Expansive knowledge a plus
  • Self-directed and highly independent
  • Comfortable leading technical projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong communicator who can interact effectively with stakeholders
  • Able to balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Proven experience designing, building, and implementing enterprise software solutions
  • Expert-level SQL Server development experience
  • Advanced C# and .
NET development skills

  • Database design and table architecture
  • Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Triggers
  • Complex query development and optimization
  • Indexing, Foreign Keys, and database constraints
  • User security, permissions, and linked servers
  • ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms
  • REST/Web Services, JSON, jQuery
  • Windows Forms and Class Libraries
  • Bootstrap and modern web development concepts
  • LINQ, Entity Framework, and multithreading The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
