With a dedication to shaping the future of drug development, they're with our customers every step of the way, pioneering tomorrow's possibilities Over the course of this Co-Op the participant will learn about what attributes are most important in enzymatic materials for various markets, how such materials are used and methods for optimization and manufacture. They will then this knowledge to create protocols and application notes for existing enzymes as well as collaborating in the development of improved versions recombinantly.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineer, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Microbiology or Biochemistry Must have skills: Hands on laboratory experience with cell culture Ability to evaluate scientific literature and to develop experimental plans Knowledge of laboratory documentation best practices and ability to keep an accurate lab notebook Training with basic laboratory instrumentation and methods such as preparation of buffers Experience with basic protein characterization techniques such as ELISA and

Nice to have skills: Experience with transfection, transformation and purification of recombinant proteins Experience with Mamallian cell lines and procedures for levels 1 and 2 bio safety level laboratories Previous experience with computational structural biology Experience independently managing a research project salary: $25 - $32 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5
