Full-Time Job Description We are seeking an Applications Engineer / CNC Application Specialist to join a global manufacturer of CNC machine tools, machining centers and CNC lathes in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are open to applications from experienced Applications Engineers or CNC Machinists / CNC Programmers who are experienced working with 5-axis CNC machining centers and looking to move into a technical, customer focused position. CNC Application Specialist Responsibilities:
Act as the technical point of contact for customers, providing application support, and practical solutions to improve machining capability and efficiency. Provide customer training and demonstrations for CNC machine tools and 5-axis machining centers on site in Charlotte, North Carolina and at customer sites across the US. Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and provide technical machining support in a timely manner. Work closely with sales, service, and engineering teams to develop machining strategies, resolve technical challenges, and support customers from initial enquiry through to completion. Full product training is provided on all machinery. Applications Engineer /
CNC Application Specialist Requirements:
Proven experience working with 5-axis CNC machining centers. Strong understanding of machining processes such as milling, turning, tooling selection, and general CNC manufacturing practices. CNC machinist or CNC programmer background is required for this position. Must be located in, or willing to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina. Willingness to travel to customer sites across the US when required.
Additional Information:
Applications Engineering role involving technical support and demonstrations with customers both on site in Charlotte, North Carolina and at customer locations in the US. This is a hands-on position working with 5-axis CNC machining centers and other highly technical CNC equipment. Opportunity to work with a premium machine tool builder. Full product training is provided on all machinery.
